金點設計-荒川純錫烈酒杯

錫在東方世界是一門精密繁複的古老工藝，傳統習俗中含有「賜福」的意義。清末民初時代，台灣彰化鹿港曾有條「打錫街」，在沒有機械大量製造的年代，各個錫藝世家風光一時，以純手工鍛造出一批又一批極美的物件，技術精湛廣為眾人稱頌。然而歷經百年興衰，當年盛況早已逐一消逝。「物」為延續台灣傳統工藝之生命，像台灣國寶級錫藝大師陳萬能老師學習基本技術，再重新剖析，研發創新更進一步的處理技法。企圖打造兼備文化內涵、符合現代人生活美學之生活用品品牌。

純錫製的純飲杯，柔和的外型搭配漸層紋理增添觸感，「荒川」之名來自於此杯款表面紋理如乾涸河床之意象，將酒水注入，就彷彿滋潤了荒川，重新豐沛飽滿了起來。錫被譽為「會呼吸的金屬」，無毒、無味的安全穩定，由於表面毛孔細緻，能發揮如備長炭之淨化水質的特性，可去除酒中苦味、強化香氣、和緩嗆辣感，適合飲用各款烈酒。

Tin craft is a time-consuming and complicated ancient skill. It’s also one of the oldest Chinese metal crafts. Tin itself has the meaning of “blessing” in China. Woo Collective merges Taiwanese traditional tin craft with unique modern technique to create different texture, giving products new ideas in daily life. It is like putting some blues or swing into classical music, and we expect to try more different crafts just like going toward Fusion music.

Pure Tin is not easily oxidized, 80% of Tin products are used for food container and described as “making wine fine, water clear, tea aromatic, flowers long last”. We craft products by different way of tradition to produce the wood grain and fabric texture, and exclusively use incense coloring technic to make every product unique and unduplicated.

“River - Pure Tin Straight Glass” is made in soft figure with gradient texture. It is known as the most expensive metal after gold and silver, tin is very malleable and flexible. Tin could remove the bitterness from alcohol; suitable for liquors and Sake.
