此案是一個大型社區建案的銷售中心設計，整個社區的規劃以"綠建築"的生態社區為主要訴求，於是，除了滿足階段性銷售期間的商業角色外，整個臨時性空間如何傳達綠建築的概念，即為此案重要且獨特的功能與目的。

整個設計的概念以"太極"出發，建築上的兩個量體的形態與材料分別代表"陰"與"陽"，兩個看似對立卻又互相協調的存在，同時象徵建築物與自然之間，營建行為與環境永續雖然看似兩個對立的兩端，但是只要能找到一個和諧共處的方式，就會是一個平衡永續的共生體。

在實際的操作上，實體的部份以多媒體放映室以及展覽空間為主，同時盡量不開窗以減少空調耗能；虛體的部分以框架式的結構結合節能玻璃的運用，創造出一個完全沒有立柱的穿透性空間，主要來作為接待與洽談空間。在環境友善部分，特別在建築中央環抱著一面景觀水池，除了景觀用途外，同時兼具地區防洪的概念，特別針對近年來極端氣候的變遷，尤其是台南地區這種炎熱氣候雨量不多，但時常出現瞬間暴雨的氣候特性，將屋頂的雨水透過特殊的斜度與集水設計，導入水池中再排入地區溝渠與下水道，以減少地表逕流與局部地區性瞬間淹水的現象，同時兼具分擔區域防洪的角色。

The project is the sales center of a large community’s construction plan, which will be completed through several stages. Starting from the concept of ‘green architecture’, building an ecological environment is the main aspiration.The project demonstrates unique properties by its diversity of a functional space:not only fulfilling the periodic sales and marketing performance as its commercial role, the temporary space also exhibits the characteristics of green building. At the same time, creating a multipurpose area representing the regional arts and cultural events and exhibitions, that is, the most unique and valuable function and purpose.

The building’s volume of forms and materialsperforms the existence of ‘Yin’ and ‘Yang’, two contradictory but harmonized elements.The two elements embody the relationship between architecture and nature, construction activity and environmental protection. Although these aspects seemopposed and independent,finding a corresponding way will establish a sustainable and balanced symbiont.During theconstruction, for the mass, the multimedia projection room and exhibition areatakes the main space, and at the same time, avoiding opening the windows to eliminate air conditioning energy consumption; for the void, using a frame structure to utilize the combination with energy-saving glass, creating a penetrating space without any columns, as a reception and negotiation space; on the other hand, importing a great amount of light through a large windows also reduces energy consumption.

The role of sales center of a real estate should provide the functions of its commercial activity such as negotiation area, model area, reception room, and lastly, the sales and marketing suite, an indispensable section of the sales center. In order to allow possible future changes or modifications of uncertain factors of the sample house,the project is a villas developed through several stages to complete. Even more, meeting the integrity of the concept of ‘Tai Chi’, the designers had associated the idea by building an individual connection of the corridor.Consequently, the design has solved the uncertain situations and upcoming problems of the stages of the construction based on different categories of architecture, while reducing the waste of construction resources and deepening the concept of the sustainability of the environment and architecture.

Moreover, a landscape pool is placed at the heart of the building for its eco-friendly aspect. Not only for its aesthetic appeal, the design has addressed the concept of regional flood control caused by the extreme climate change in recent years.Even though Tainan is located within a tropic area with little precipitation, torrential rain still occurs enormously. In this case, the rain water on the roof is directed through a unique slope and catchment design, into the pool and discharged into the local drains and sewers. As a result, the system is able to reduce surface runoff and regional instant flooding phenomenon, while sharing the role of flood control.
