PJ Harvey 即將推出她的新專輯《The Hope Six Demolition Project》。繼 2011 年的上一張專輯《Let England Shake》，新專輯將透過廠牌 Island Records 於今年 4 月 15 日釋出。《The Hope Six Demolition Project》是 Harvey 去年創作，並在倫敦博物館對外公開錄音過程的作品。Harvey 在創作這些歌的同時，也出版了她的詩集《The Hollow of the Hand》，並與攝影師 Seamus Murphy 到科索沃、阿富汗和華盛頓旅行。去年秋天，她在倫敦的一個多媒體表演上，和 Murphy 首次公開演出十首新歌。
新專輯的最新預告即由 Seamus Murphy 執導，預告裡可聽見兩首新歌的片段包括〈The Community of Hope〉和〈The Wheel〉。第一首單曲〈The Wheel〉於昨晚在 BBC Radio 6 Music 的 Steve Lamacq's show 上首次播出，約在節目時間 51:35 處。 而看她在北半球夏季預定的演出日程，空出來的七月底，很可能會前往日本的富士搖滾音樂祭。
